Last November I held my first Makers Retreat in the mountains of Washington State. As part of the retreat, I created two patterns that would not only be a fun sew but would teach the ladies specific skills within sewing, because if you are going to come to sew with teachers on hand to help, why not try new skills.
Since not everyone was able to come to the retreat I decided to release the two patterns to all of you.
LEAVENWORTH is structured meets relaxed fit with a beautiful inside and out. Leavenworth has 3/4 sleeves, curved back yoke, side slits, and completely finished seams. With this pattern, you will learn french seams, flat-felled seams, set-in sleeve, and facing finished neckline.
These samples are sewn in Brussels Washer Yarn Dye Linen and Slub Texture Linen Blend both from Stylemaker Fabrics.
ICICLE CREEK is secret pajamas meets everyday wear with an oversized look and two views to choose from. View A is hip length with a henley placket. View B is longer with side slits and basic bound neckband. Icicle Creek is the perfect layer throughout the year.
These samples are sewn in Melange Viscose Jersey from my stash, Bamboo Jersey Knit and Bamboo Jersey French Terry both from Stylemaker Fabrics.
These patterns are the perfect layers as we move into spring. The patterns are both on sale now, no code necessary, but if you decide to get both patterns you can save an additional 10% off your order with code RETREATCOLLECTION
Make sure to share your finished garments with #ssdleavenworth and #ssdiciclecreek
Happy Sewing
