Remix the Stitch – Day 7

Today we have two very different yet equally fun Ballard remixes.  And get excited all of you nursing mamas because there is one for you today!

Audrey of Skirt Fixation is someone I have been following on social media, probably like all of you, for awhile.  Audrey leads the team at Skirt Fixation which is made up of two young sewists and a very cute model.  I absolutely love that she taught her daughters to sew at a young age and that they love to do it, I hope to start teaching Sophie how to sew this year.  I don’t know how Audrey finds the time to sew as a mom to 7, but she does and the results are so great.

Remix the Stitch – Day 6

I hope everyone had a great weekend!  We had a big birthday celebration for Sophie’s 5th birthday on Saturday, filled with lot of food, friends and family so needless to say the rest of the weekend involved relaxing.

But I am back at it this morning to share with you the three lovely sewist joining me for Remix the Stitch – Day 6!

Remix the Stitch – Day 5

Half way through the Remix the Stitch tour and I didn’t think it was possible to see so many different makes.  No one has repeated one another yet which is pretty surprising.  I know from peeks that next week has some equally fantastic outfits to come!

If you are just joining make sure to head back and read Day 1, Day 2, Day 3 and Day 4 of the tour.  I promise you will see all of my patterns in a whole new light after seeing the things these amazing ladies made.

Remix the Stitch – Day 4

Welcome back to Remix the Stitch – Day 4!

I hope that all of these amazing bloggers have been giving you a bunch of inspiration for your next sewing project. I know I have an ever growing list of clothes to sew now that my mind has been blown with the possibilities.  Todays remixes are no different.

Remix the Stitch – Day 3

Thanks for joining me for Remix the Stitch – Day 3.  I really hope that all of the looks you have been seeing the last two days have helped you to see new and different ways these patterns could work for you.  I have already heard from a few people that said they hadn’t considered some of the patterns until they saw them remixed!!  That is exactly what I was hoping for with this tour!

Make sure to grab your copies of the patterns over in the shop so you can start sewing along with these amazing bloggers.

Remix the Stitch – Day 2

Holy Moly, the response to day 1 of Remix the Stitch was insane!  Everyone is loving the outfits from Meg and Jennifer and I don’t blame them, they are fantastic.

The ladies joining for Remix the Stitch – Day 2 did not hold back with their looks.  I think you will be just as impressed as I was with the range of casual and dressy on the blog today.  So lets jump right into it.

Remix the Stitch – Day 1

Welcome to the first day of the Remix the Stitch Blog tour, I hope you are just as excited as I am to see what these ladies have come up with.

Let me quickly share all the nitty gritty about some things and then I will throw it over to the first two bloggers sharing their makes for Remix the Stitch – Day 1, they are insane in such a good way!

Getting Ready for Fall

It’s like a great big fall love fest around here, can you tell I am just a little bit excited for the weather to change.  Seattle is absolutely hands down the best place in the world to be in the fall, but I may be a bit biased.

With the release of the Fall Collection by Indiesew it really got me into fall mode so why not go all fall and share with you another way I am getting ready for fall, the Sophie Cardi by Muse Patterns.

Why Buy It When You Can Sew It

One of my good friends has the cutest woven joggers in the most perfect tribal fabric.  They are perfect for the summer when you want to wear something comfortable but also look a bit more put together.  She recently wore them over to my house for a girls movie night and I immediately knew I had to have some!  But that thought was immediately followed by why buy it when you can sew it.  The best part was that I knew exactly what pattern to use and had the most perfect peach skin fabric in my stash for them.
